1. Introduction
1.1 purpose
The heavy car shunter is the main shunting equipment matched with the dumper. It can pull the whole train or single heavy-duty open car to the required position and push the unloaded car skin out of the dumper platform to the transfer platform or the ground empty car line. The side arm heavy car shunter can make the open car pass under the controlled state and meet the requirements of the railway department. The side arm heavy truck shunter can be matched with the C-type dumper to realize automatic shunting and improve the automation of unloading line.

1.3. Structural characteristics
The heavy vehicle shunter is mainly composed of vehicle body, traveling transmission device, rigid traveling wheel device, balance wheel group device, guide wheel device, shunter device, track device, automatic uncoupling device, hydraulic system, cable support device, speed and position detection device, etc. it is driven by Libu planetary reducer and AC variable-frequency motor, which effectively ensures that the heavy vehicle shunter is in traction Smooth operation of train.
1.4. Working principle
The heavy car shunter is the main shunting equipment matched with the dumper. To facilitate the description of the working principle of the heavy car shunter, take the turning back operation line of the single car dumper as an example, the no-load gondola parked in the dumper after being tipped in the previous working cycle is arranged as No.1 vehicle, the heavy-duty gondola to be tipped is arranged as No.2 vehicle, and the heavy-duty gondola coupled with No.2 vehicle is arranged as No.3 vehicle, for operation The procedure is as follows:
1.4.1. The arm of the heavy car shunter falls down, and then moves back at a low speed to be coupled with car 2 (the wheel set on the front bogie of car 2 is clamped by the wheel clamp).
1.4.2. The heavy car shunter shall pull the train to move forward at a medium speed so that the coupler between No. 2 and No. 3 vehicles is at the designated uncoupling position (the upper wheel group of the front bogie of No. 3 vehicle is at the position of the wheel clamp).
1.4.3. Untie the coupler between vehicles 2.3 (the wheel clamp clamps the wheel set on the front bogie of vehicle 3).
1.4.4. The heavy car shunter shall pull the No. 2 car to position on the dumper and connect with the No. 1 car.
1.1.5. The heavy car shunter and car 2 automatically uncouple, and push car 1 out of the dumper body and send it to the transfer platform for positioning.
1.1.6. The heavy car shunter and No. 1 car automatically uncouple, and back a certain safety distance. At the same time, the body of the car dumper is turned over and back to the zero position.
At this point, one shunting cycle is completed and the next cycle is entered.
1.5. Product series

4. Selection method
Determine the form of the heavy vehicle shunter to be matched according to the body form of the dumper, determine the tonnage to be pulled by the heavy vehicle shunter according to the number of train sections entering the plant each time, and determine the maximum travel of the heavy vehicle shunter according to the comprehensive layout. Generally, the turnaround operation line can be 50-50m, and the travel needs to be increased by 8-10m when equipped with the coal sampling equipment
