Product Description
1. Product name and model number
1.1. Product Name
XWZ--Frameless front water inlet rotary screen
XWC--Without frame side water inlet rotary screen
XKZ--Front inlet rotary screen with frame
XKC--Framed side inlet rotary screen
1.2 Product model
It is composed of the product name in Chinese pinyin and the nominal width of the mesh plate.
XWZ(/C)--------****
X------ rotary screen
W------ frameless
Z/C------ front/side Inlet water
****----- nominal width of stencil (mm)
XKZ(/C)--------****
X------ rotary screen
K------ framed
Z/C------ front/side Inlet water
****----- Nominal width of mesh plate (mm)
Model example
XKZ-3000 for rotary screens with frame, front water inlet, nominal width of the mesh plate 300 mm.
XWC-3000 indicates a rotary screen without a frame, with side water inlet and a nominal width of 3000mm.
In the above models, when there are no other letters after the letters Z and C, it means that the gap between the mesh plate and the mesh plate, and the mesh plate with center rotating and overlapping mechanical self-sealing structure. When the letter N is added after the letters Z and C, it means the gap between the mesh plate and the mesh plate, and the mesh plate adopts the arc-engaging mechanical self-sealing structure.
2. Structure and principle
Rotary screen according to the water inlet can be divided into front water inlet (Z) and side water inlet (C) two types, the water inlet method see Drawing 1 and drawing 2.
Rotary filter according to its own structure, can be divided into no frame (w) and have a frame (K) two types of structure were shown in Drawing 4 & 6 and Drawing 5 & 7.

2.1 Plate and frame type rotary screen. Generally consists of the following parts.
2.1.1. water part
1. Upper frame
2. Reducer with motor
3. Tensioning device
4. Safety protection mechanism
5. Sprocket drive system
6.Flushing hose system
The above components are assembled together to form the water part, which is installed on the foundation of the upper part of the water chamber.
2.1.2 Underwater section
7. Roller guide (type K with frame)
8. Working chain
9. mesh plate
10. Curved bottom pit
The above components form the underwater section, which is installed in the water chamber.
The roller track of the rotating screen without frame is installed on both sides of the water chamber and fixed by pre-embedded bolts. For frame-type rotary screen, П-type positioning slots are pre-buried at full height on both sides of the water chamber, and the frame-type track is assembled in 2.5m or 3m sections and inserted into the positioning slots. Each section is connected by bolts, and the bottom arc rail is welded to the frame as a whole, which constitutes the running track of the mesh plate. The advantages of frame rotating screen are: frame rail can be lifted out of the water chamber for maintenance in sections, and the installation precision of the pre-embedded П-type positioning groove is lower. Lateral sealing problem is easier to solve. The disadvantage is: frame. Guide rail consumes more steel. Complex technology, high cost. Increased water resistance. The advantages and disadvantages of rotary screen without frame are opposite to those of rotary screen with frame.
2.2 Principle
Start the motor through the speed reducer after deceleration, through the sprocket and chain drive spindle and work sprocket rotation, work sprocket drive the work chain and net plate movement. As shown in Drawing 1 and Drawing 2, when the water flows through the mesh plate, the dirt in the water flow is blocked and lifted upward with the mesh belt, and when it rotates to the upper part of the screen, it is washed by the 0.3MPa pressure water sprayed from the nozzle of the rinsing water system, which forces the dirt to fall into the slag discharge tank, and then it is collected and excluded.
