Product Description
Ahead pump (rolling bearing)
1.General
The pump is a horizontal, single-stage axially separated type with a casing supported near the centerline to allow free expansion in the axial and radial directions, thereby maintaining alignment. The pump is mounted integrally on a rigidly constructed pump base equipped with a suitable drainage device.
2.Casing
The casing is a high quality carbon steel casting, is a double worm shell type, horizontal centerline separation, inlet and outlet pipes in the lower half of the casing structure, so as to avoid disassembling the coupling pipes during maintenance.
The horizontal centerline of the shell is equipped with a compressed asbestos paper cypress pad.
In order to reduce the deformation of the flange under the combined effect of pressure load and thermal shock, high-strength bolts are used, and cylindrical cap nuts are used to facilitate the use of minimum pitch.
The casing is supported on a box-type structural steel welded pump base through a pump foot cast together with it, and the joint surface of the casing and the pump base is close to the centerline of the shaft, while the key configuration maintains longitudinal and transverse alignment and is suitable for thermal expansion.
An exhaust valve is provided on the top cover of the casing.
3.Impeller
The impeller is a double suction type, cast in stainless steel, machined to exact fit tolerances and statically balanced. The double suction construction ensures that the axial force on the impeller is basically balanced, and a bearing capable of withstanding two-way thrust is provided on the free end to balance the remaining axial force.
The impeller is fixed to the shaft by a key, and the axial position is determined by the nut of the wheel shaft at both ends, this arrangement allows the impeller to be positioned on the centerline of the worm gear.
4.Shaft
Stainless steel forgings, in stress relieved condition, are rough machined before quenching and tempering. After heat treatment, cutting is carried out until a radial margin of 3mm is left, then the shaft is placed in a vertical furnace for stress relieving, followed by final machining and grinding.
Impeller sealing ring
This ring reduces leakage and is installed in the casing cavity and positioned by the anti-rotation locating pin.
5.Bearing
The front pump is equipped with a single row of radial short cylindrical roller bearings at the drive end and two single row tapered roller bearings mounted face to face at the free end.
The bearings are mounted on bearing brackets firmly attached to the support flange at the end of the pump casing, and the entire assembly is positioned with the pump casing by pins to ensure accurate reassembly.
The front pump is lubricated with thin oil, and the bearing bracket is equipped with a cooling water chamber to cool the bearings and is equipped with temperature measurement points.
6.Shaft seal
The pump is equipped with a mechanical seal, which is balanced and consists of a spring-loaded dynamic ring and a water-cooled static ring. The separate stuffing box is equipped with a water-cooling sleeve so that the temperature around the rotating part of the mechanical seal is low.
7.Coupling
The laminated coupling between the pump and the motor is a flexible and torsionally rigid metal laminated structure.
8.Pump Seats
The pump base is a heavy-duty, solid box-section steel section. When used as a pre-pump for a vapor pump set, the pre-pump and its drive motor are equipped with a common base.
