Forged tee

 

1. Introduction

1.1. Purpose

Forged tees are mainly used as connectors in main steam, main feed water and reheat hot section pipes of power plants, and also used as connectors for other industrial high temperature and high pressure pipelines.

1.2. Structural features

1.2.1. Structural form series: T-shaped, regular Y-shaped, oblique Y-shaped

1.2.2. Interface series: equal diameter and different diameter (large small small large)

1.2.3. Dimension series: inner diameter series, outer diameter series, inner diameter outer diameter series.

3. Selection method

The name, design parameters, interface specification, steel grade, supply status and quantity of forgings shall be given, and the ordering drawings and technical requirements shall be provided. If necessary, the important areas of forgings shall be indicated. Except for the requirements provided by users, the groove forms of forgings shall be in accordance with DL/T869-2004 technical specification for welding of thermal power plants.
