Product description

1. Working principle and application: high temperature steam is introduced into the venturi from the inlet end of the desuperheater, while water is injected through the venturi throat nozzle to form mist like water droplets, which are fully mixed with high-speed steam flow, and then led out of the desuperheater from the other end through a certain length of sleeve. In this way, the injected water absorbs the heat of superheated steam and turns into steam, which reduces the steam temperature. Due to the high quality requirements of desuperheating water, some boilers use self-made condensate water as desuperheating water source. But the water supply quality of modern high parameter boiler is very high, so the boiler water supply is widely used as the desuperheating water source, which greatly reduces the equipment system.

 

2. Structure: there are many types of spray desuperheater (mixed type). A cylindrical header is commonly used, which is equipped with a venturi nozzle (i.e. convergent and divergent tube). The throat of the nozzle is equipped with a nozzle and connected with the spray water source. A section of thin-wall casing is also installed along the inner wall of the header outside the venturi tube, In order to avoid the water droplets splashing on the thick pipe wall of header with high temperature and causing excessive thermal stress and damage.
