Electrostatic precipitator

 

1. Introduction

1.1. Purpose

Electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a kind of high-efficiency dust removal equipment used to collect dust, fog beads and other particles. It is widely used in coal-fired power plant, metallurgy, chemical industry, cement, paper industry and other industries.

1.3. Structural features

The electrostatic precipitator is mainly composed of two parts: one is the electrostatic precipitator body, which is a steel structure; the other is the device for generating high-voltage direct current and low-voltage control equipment, namely the electrical part. At present, horizontal plate electrostatic precipitator is widely used.

1.4. Working principle

Electrostatic precipitator is based on the principle of electrostatic attraction, which ionizes the gas by electric power, and charges the dust by collision with ions. The charged dust moves to the opposite electrode and gathers on the electrode under the action of electric field force. The dry electrostatic precipitator is vibrated, while the wet electrostatic precipitator is washed with water to collect the dust deposited on the electrode, so as to achieve the purpose of purifying flue gas.

1.5. Product series

There are many types of electrostatic precipitator, which can be divided into single zone electrostatic precipitator and double zone electrostatic precipitator according to the configuration of collector and discharge electrode in esp.

1.5.1. According to its structure, the single zone electrostatic precipitator can be divided into the following types:

According to the flow direction of flue gas in the electric field, it can be divided into vertical and horizontal electrostatic precipitators.

1.5.1.2. It can be divided into dry electrostatic precipitator and wet electrostatic precipitator.

According to the electrode shape, it can be divided into plate type, tube type and rod type electrostatic precipitator.

1.5.1.4. According to the size of electrode distance, it can be divided into conventional electrostatic precipitator and wide spacing electrostatic precipitator.

1.5.2. Double zone electrostatic precipitator. The voltage level of double zone electrostatic precipitator is low, and positive corona discharge is usually used. It is mainly used for air conditioning system inlet purification.

 

2. Main technical parameters

Electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a personalized non-standard equipment with single design and tailor-made. Its main technical parameters are based on the working conditions provided by users, such as flue gas volume, flue gas temperature, flue gas composition, flue gas pressure, dust content, particle size distribution, particle dust composition, specific resistance, local meteorological and geological conditions, required dust removal efficiency or emission requirements, power supply and control requirements Etc. Table 13-1 gives the main design technical parameters of electrostatic precipitator for 1 000 MW unit of Huaneng Yuhuan Power Plant.

3. Equipment appearance and structural dimensions

Due to the single design, the shape and structure size of each electrostatic precipitator are also different. Figure 13-1 shows the structure of electrostatic precipitator.

 

4. Selection method

Feida electrostatic precipitator is selected by computer. The basic information to be provided by the user includes the flue gas volume at the inlet of electrostatic precipitator, dust concentration, flue gas temperature, required dust removal efficiency or electrostatic precipitator outlet emission requirements, body resistance, body air leakage rate, ash sample analysis data, coal sample analysis data, flue gas dew point temperature, flue gas moisture content, plant site meteorological and geographical conditions, and other special requirements Wait.

 

5. Scope of supply and order requirements

5.1. Scope of supply

Since the product is single design, the scope of supply is determined according to the user's needs, usually including the electrostatic precipitator body and electrical appliances, as well as the drawings, installation instructions, operation instructions, spare parts, and even special tools required for the installation and commissioning of the product.

5.2. Order requirements

5.2.1. Electrostatic precipitator products are manufactured, installed, debugged and accepted according to JB / T 5910-2005 electrostatic precipitator and other industry standards, and according to product drawings and technical documents approved by procedures. If there are special requirements, they shall be indicated in the order contract or technical agreement.
