Double valve plate cermet seal isolation valve

 

1. Introduction

1.1. Purpose

The double valve plate metal or ceramic seal isolation valve is a supporting equipment of single pipe multi pump pneumatic ash conveying system. It is installed at the tail of the bin pump conveying unit, which mainly controls the conveying of materials by the bin pump unit and acts as an isolation function for different conveying units.

1.2. Structural features

The valve adopts cemented carbide seal and toughened engineering ceramic seal. It has strong wear resistance, good sealing performance, small starting load, no jam in valve chamber and long service life.

The valve seat and valve plate are made of alloy or toughened structural ceramics, which can be interchanged during maintenance. The valve plate can rotate on the valve seat at each switch action, which can grind and polish the sealing surface, thus greatly improving the wear resistance. In addition, each time the valve is opened, there is enough space in the valve chamber to push the medium away from the valve plate, so the valve action will not be blocked and the full flow of the valve channel will not be blocked.
