1. Introduction

1.1. Application

HPT series feed water pumps have the advantages of wide application range, high efficiency, reasonable structure, reliable operation and convenient maintenance, which can be used in 1000, 600MW and 300MW steam turbine generator units.

1.2. Model meaning

HPT**-##-&&

HPT -- Code of high pressure and high temperature feed pump

**-------- impeller outer diameter nominal size (mm)

## ------- nominal diameter of pump outlet pipe (mm)

&& -------- impeller stages

Example: HPT400-390-6s indicates that this type of water supply pump is a high-pressure and high-temperature water supply pump. The nominal size of the inner diameter at the outlet of the pump is 400mm, the nominal outer diameter of the impeller is 390mm, and the number of impeller stages is 6.

1.3. Structural features (see Figure 1-1)

1.3.1. Horizontal, double shell integral core package design.

1.3.2. High efficiency.

1.3.3. Rigid rotor with high reliability.

1.3.4. The compact structure greatly shortens the bearing span, the rotor static deflection is small, the length diameter ratio is small, and the rigidity is better.

1.3.5. Reasonable radial clearance is based on high efficiency and critical speed of pump and shaft deflection standard.

1.3.6. The inner hole of sealing ring with parallel throttling groove not only maintains the hydraulic rigidity of smooth bushing, but also increases throttling resistance, which can effectively prevent wear and bite.

1.3.7. The pure balance drum structure completely eliminates the possibility of axial contact between the static and dynamic parts.

1.3.8. The special structure at the inlet of throttle bushing of balance drum effectively reduces the damage of eddy current to the pump, greatly improves the static stiffness of fluid in the clearance, and processes the inner hole with reverse spiral groove to minimize leakage.

1.3.9. The booster stage impeller is specially designed according to the needs of users.

1.3.10. Four oil wedge bearing has better anti vibration ability; large size thrust bearing can bear overload load.

1.3.11. The impeller and balance drum assembled by hot sleeve are used to eliminate the liquid leakage between the shaft and the two.

The labyrinth seal can not be replaced for at least 12 years without mechanical seal replacement.

1.3.13. The large end cover adopts the integrated design with the core package.

1.3.14. The bearing box is directly connected with the pump body in 360 ° full circumferential direction. The bearing has high anti vibration ability and low assembly error.

1.3.15. The integral core package is convenient for maintenance and may have the shortest downtime.

3. Selection method

According to the design conditions, unit capacity and boiler operation mode of thermal power station, the configuration scheme of feed water pump set is generally determined by the customer, and the appropriate type of feed water pump is designed and selected by the manufacturer according to the flow, head, temperature and other operating parameters provided by the customer.

4. Scope of supply
