The stator winding cooling water system is a closed-loop system. To ensure continuous and reliable operation of the generator, two single-stage corrosion resistant centrifugal pumps of 100% rated capacity each are provided to circulate the water, one of which must be selected as the working pump and the other as the standby pump. DFB pump is driven by a three-phase AC motor and is powered by a different system to increase reliability.
DFB type stainless steel pump is a new type of corrosion resistant pump designed for the cooling circulation system of generator sets, and can meet other industrial processes to transport corrosive, viscosity similar to water with temperature not exceeding 80℃. This pump type uses hard alloy special mechanical seal device, which has the characteristics of simple structure, reliable performance, small volume, light weight, high efficiency, low noise and easy to use and maintain.
