Horizontal multi media filter

 

1. Introduction

1.1. Purpose

Horizontal multi-media filter is a pretreatment equipment for ion exchange system. It uses the medium filtration to remove suspended solids in water and make the effluent clear. The equipment can be loaded with single layer or double layer filter material, which has the characteristics of large water output and small floor area.

1.2. Model meaning

                  G Y 300•120

                  G -- filtration

                  Y -------- pressure type (single or double layer)

                  300 -------- equipment diameter (CM)

                  120 -------- height of packing layer (CM)

1.3. Structural features

1.3.1. The upper water inlet device is in the form of main branch pipe.

1.3.2. The lower water outlet device is in the form of multi orifice plate water cap,

1.3.3 black epoxy asphalt paint shall be used for anti-corrosion of internal surface of equipment.

The equipment is equipped with local sampling device and inlet and outlet pressure gauges.

1.3.5. The pressure rating of all interface flanges is PN1.0mpa
