1. Introduction

1.1. Purpose

The original ball mill is widely used in building materials, metallurgy, electric power and chemical industry to grind (dry and grind) cement raw materials and other materials.

1.2. Structural features

1.2.1. Ordinary raw material ball mill. The ordinary raw material ball mill is suitable for medium and small scale raw material grinding system, and is generally used for the circle flow grinding system of external powder separation.

1.2.2. Air swept ball mill. The characteristics of the air swept ball mill are short and thick, the hollow shaft neck of the material in and out is large, the gap area of the partition plate between the drying bin and the grinding bin is large, and there is no discharge grate plate at the grinding tail, so the ventilation resistance is very small. The wind speed of the grinding bin can reach more than 5m / s, which can enter a large amount of hot air, so the drying capacity is strong.

1.2.3. Tail unloading lifting circulating ball mill. The basic difference between the tail discharge lifting circulating ball mill and the air swept ball mill is that the feed material is discharged by mechanical method from the drying bin to the end of the grinding bin, and then sent to the powder concentrator by the elevator, and the coarse material is returned to the ball mill for circulating grinding.

1.2.4. Intermediate discharge lifting circulating ball mill. In terms of drying function, the intermediate discharge lifting circulating ball mill is the combination of air swept ball mill and tail discharge lifting circulating ball mill; in terms of grinding function, it is actually equivalent to a two-stage circulating flow grinding system. The front end of the ball mill is equipped with a drying bin, which has good drying effect. The raw materials are fed from the grinding head, and the return materials of the powder concentrator are respectively returned to the coarse grinding bin and the fine grinding bin from the grinding head and the grinding tail; the materials discharged from the mill are transported to the separator for separation by the elevator; most of the returned materials are returned to the fine grinding bin, and the rest are returned to the coarse grinding bin.
