2. Performance and structural characteristics

The reducer is composed of one-stage spiral bevel gear and one-stage planetary gear. Compared with the three-stage ordinary spiral bevel cylindrical gear reducer with the same rated power and transmission ratio, it is not only small in size and light in weight, but also stable in transmission, low in noise and high in efficiency. All of these are mainly due to the use of the characteristics of planetary gear transmission, and the increase of the percentage of the number of grinding gears in the total number of gears, which greatly improves the performance of the whole transmission.

The reducer is mainly composed of the following parts:

2.1. Bevel gear transmission

The input stage of the reducer is a pair of extended epicycloid spiral bevel gears. The big and small gears are made of carburized and quenched steel, and processed by hard tooth surface processing method, with high strength. The small bevel gear and the large bevel gear are installed into the lower housing through the bearing seat, and the adjusting pad is set under the flange of the two bearing seats to adjust the position of the contact area of the gear pair and the tooth side clearance.

2.2. Planetary gear transmission

Planetary gear transmission is mainly composed of sun wheel, planetary wheel, inner gear, etc.

The sun wheel floats during operation so that its teeth contact with three planetary wheels at the same time; the planetary wheel is installed on the planetary carrier, and rotates along with the carrier while rotating around its axis. The inner gear is fixed in the housing.

Sun wheel and planetary wheel are all grinding gears after carburizing and quenching, and internal gears are tempered gears.

2.3. Gear coupling

The gear coupling is set between two stages of gear transmission of the reducer, which is used to connect the transmission between two stages of gear. As the inner gear sleeve of gear coupling also floats with the sun wheel in star level, the coupling gear is also made of alloy steel.

2.4. Plain sliding thrust bearing

In order to bear the dynamic and static load of the coal mill, the plane sliding thrust bearing is set on the upper part of the reducer.

The bearing is mainly composed of thrust disc, thrust pad and hemispherical. The thrust plate rotates with the output drive flange, the thrust pad is positioned by the retaining pin, and the support is still on the shell by the hemispherical and soft pad. The plane sliding thrust bearing rotates by the thrust plate to produce a dynamic pressure lubricating oil film between the thrust plate and the thrust pad.

The thrust plate is made of steel and the thrust pad surface is made of bearing alloy material. Because the bearing works by establishing a normal lubricating oil film, the bearing material hardness is very low, so it can not be used when the coal mill is loaded without coal. When using turning gear, it is necessary to loosen all load of coal mill (it is better to lift the grinding spokes for variable loading coal mill) to ensure the safety of bearing.

2.5. Rolling bearing

The reducer is assembled with imported bearings, and the design life is not less than 100000 hours. The lubricating oil is required to ensure the quality and cleanliness of plain plain plain bearings.

2.6. Housing

The reducer adopts the upper and lower case separate shell, which is designed to facilitate the maintenance of parts in the lower box when damaged. The upper and lower boxes are all ductile iron parts, with good strength and rigidity and strong shock absorption capacity. The upper box is provided with two oil inlet and eight oil return observation holes for thrust bearing. The lower box is provided with a return port, three access doors and an oil window.

2.7. Lubrication and cooling

In order to ensure reliable lubrication and cooling of gears and bearings in operation, the gear reducer adopts sulfur type extremely pressure industrial gear oil as lubricating and cooling medium, and the lubricating station with high filtration precision is used to provide the lubricating oil with proper temperature for the reducer. The oil supply quantity of each lubricating point in the reducer is determined by calculation and test, which can fully meet the requirements of all parts with relative movement.
