1. Function of boiler burner

2. Classification of burners

The air entering the burner is not blown into the furnace at one time, so it needs to enter the furnace in batches according to the combustion principle.

In general, DC burners are used in tangential circle arrangement and swirl burners are used in furnace wall arrangement

2.1. Once through burner

The outlet air flow is a direct current jet, which is generally arranged at the four corners of the furnace to make the pulverized coal flow tangentially burn in the furnace.

2.1.1. Pulverized coal precombustion chamber burner

This is the most widely used new type of pulverized coal burner. The pre chamber burner is a pre chamber made of refractory or heat resistant steel plate.

2.1.2 bluff body burner is a non streamline body bluff body which is set at the outlet of primary air nozzle at each corner of the angle type pulverized coal burner, so that the pulverized coal flow can produce backflow in the wake area of bluff body and absorb high-temperature flue gas, which is conducive to the ignition of fuel and the stability of flame. After ignition, the pulverized coal torch forms a four corner tangential combustion in the furnace.

2.1.3. Flame stabilized ship burners

The structure is that a ship type flame holder is installed in the primary air outlet of the conventional once through pulverized coal burner, and an ignition small oil gun is set in the center of the flame holder. After adopting this structure, the upper pulverized coal flows around it and then into the furnace, forming a waist jet not far from the primary air nozzle. The regions with high temperature, high pulverized coal concentration and proper oxygen concentration are formed at the outer edges of both sides of the beam waist, which become a good ignition heat source for igniting pulverized coal flow, so as to stabilize the combustion in the furnace.

2.1.4. Rich lean burner

The so-called thick and light burner is to separate the pulverized coal air mixture flow, namely the primary air flow into two streams of rich powder flow and lean powder flow, so as to improve the concentration of pulverized coal in the rich powder flow with the constant primary air volume.

Try to form the so-called "three high zones" near the outlet of the primary air nozzle: local high temperature, high pulverized coal concentration → Dense dilute separation, and appropriate high oxygen concentration. The effect of high concentration side is to reduce the ignition heat; With the increase of concentration, the chemical reaction speed of combustion is increased; The ignition temperature is reduced; The ignition time and ignition distance are shortened, which is beneficial to burnout; The black poison of the flame in the furnace is increased and the radiation heat absorption is strengthened; The formation of NOx (reducing atmosphere) is reduced. 2. Swirl burner

The outlet gas flow consists of a rotating jet rotating around the axis of the burner. It is suitable for coal with high volatile content.

 

No matter what kind of burner, the ultimate goal is to make the pulverized coal burn better and cleaner. Only the once through burner creates a dynamic field in the furnace, which rotates the air in the furnace through tangential circle to attract the surrounding high-temperature flue gas to participate in combustion. The swirl burner disturbs the air in the design of the burner, so that the pulverized coal and air are fully mixed, which is conducive to combustion.
