The main function of pitch reducer is to drive the pitch control gearbox, which is used to adjust the output power of wind turbine generator. When the measured actual power value of the control system does not match the set value, each wind turbine blade can rotate around its longitudinal axis. It is characterized by frequent start and stop of intermittent work, large transmission torque and high transmission ratio.
Due to its working characteristics and the limitation of installation position, three-stage planetary gear reduction mechanism is mostly used in the design.
